Excited to get iphone 6..... Can't wait till September... View by High Speed IT Network Services LLC. www.hispeedit.comin Abu Dhabi, Dubai, uae.
Apple's 2014 iPhone 6
is expected to include a larger redesigned form factor, with 4.7" and
5.5" diagonal screens. The 4.7" model will be introduced first around
September, with the 5.5" model following later.
Price
Apple typically releases its new models at the same price as the old ones. If that holds out,
then we'd expect the 16GB model to cost £549, 32GB model to cost £629, the 64GB model £709. A
larger screen could see prices go up, though.
There could be a $50 to $100 premium for a larger iPhone 6, compared to the 4in iPhone 5s. However, there is potential good news. As Apple is said to be planning two screen sizes, it may be that the 4.7in model costs the same as the current iPhone, with only the larger phablet costing more. We're going to have towait until much closer to launch to have any true idea of pricing, though.
Camera Additions
A recent rumor has suggested that the iPhone 6 may continue to use the 8-megapixel sensor found in the iPhone 5s and the iPhone 5c, while adding other camera improvements. The size of the iPhone's display grew from 3.5 inches to 4 inches with the iPhone 5, and with the iPhone 6, the screen will grow even larger.
Display
Apple has been experimenting with a wide variety of screen sizes, with the majority of rumors solidifying around a range of 4.7 inches and 5.5 inches, bringing the next iPhone in line with competing Android and Windows phones that have all adopted larger displays.
Apple acknowledged high consumer demand for phones with larger displays in one of its own internal presentations, and based on that evidence, it seems clear the company isplanning to address the growing segment of market that desire bigger phones.
Apple is expected to release the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 around September of 2014, but there has been some disagreement about the launch date of the 5.5-inch iPhone. Due to production issues that may or may not be resolved, the larger 5.5-inch iPhone could launch alongside the 4.7-inch version, or at a somewhat later date.
Both the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch iPhones will have an increased resolution due to their larger screens, possibly at 1704 x 906, a pixel-tripled resolution that would give the 4.7-inch model a pixel density of 416 and the 5.5-inch version a pixel density of 365.
Along with a larger screen, the iPhone 6 may feature a durable sapphire display in at least some models, and rumors have also indicated the iPhone 6 may adopt slimmer bezels and a thinner chassis. The larger 5.5-inch iPhone 6 might also incorporate Optical Image Stabilization as a
differentiating feature from the 4.7-inch iPhone 6.
Display Technology
Current iPhones use Low Temperature Poly Silicon (LTPS) technology, and Apple is likely to continue using that technology for the iPhone 6.
Processor Upgrades
The iPhone 5s incorporates a 64-bit A7 28-nanometer chip manufactured by Samsung. Apple's iPhone 6 will reportedly utilize a 20-nanometer A8 chip from TSMC, which will be both smaller and more energy efficient. Samsung will continue to be involved in the production, however, helping to alleviate some of TSMC's manufacturing load.
Apple's
iOS updates generally happen along iPhone launches, which means the
iPhone 6 is likely to ship with iOS 8. Previewed at Apple's Worldwide
Developers Conference in June, iOS 8 introduces several new features
that improve integration between Apple's mobile and desktop devices.
Along
with tools to allow for seamless transitions of tasks between iPhones,
iPads, and Macs, iOS 8 also includes improved Message management tools,
interactive notifications, a revamped "QuickType" keyboard, iCloud Drive
access, and an all new health and fitness aggregation app, called
simply "Health."
Features
Apple's iPhone 6 is likely to continue to feature the Touch ID fingerprint sensor first found in the iPhone 5s.
Apple's next-generation iPhone may also support the 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard that first began appearing in Apple products in 2013. 802.11ac, or "Gigabit" Wi-Fi, offers speeds up to three times as fast as existing 802.11n wireless networks, reaching speeds over 1 Gigabit per second.
Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) is one way the camera in the iPhone 6 may be improved, and there are reports that Apple will integrate OIS into the iPhone 6.Optical Image Stabilization uses motion-tracking in order to compensate for device shakiness, allowing for sharper photos and videos. Apple may incorporate NFC technology into the device as part of a mobile payment solution. The inclusion of NFC in the iPhone 6 would be a bit unusual.
Release Date
The majority of rumors have pointed towards a September release of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6, followed by a launch of the 5.5-inch version towards the end of the year or in early 2015. Apple's 5.5-inch iPhone was said to be experiencing production issues that have pushed back the company's target release date for the device, but recent rumors have suggested that Apple may have solved 5.5-inch iPhone production issues. Bloomberg has also indicated that both phones will go into mass production at the same time, so a simultaneous release is still a possibility.
A recent rumor has suggested the release date of the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 could be Friday, September 19, which is in line with both previous rumors and former iPhone launch timelines. Apple supplier Foxconn is currently said to be hiring 100,000 additional employees before production on the iPhone 6 ramps up next month.
Specificatiions:
Release Date: Fall 2014
Larger screen: 4.7" (perhaps 1704x960 pixels) and 5.5"
Sapphire crystal screen
Faster and more efficient A8 chip
Why iPhones catching market in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, uae…. An insight view by High Speed IT Network Services LLC. www.hispeedit.com
Buyers are upgrading their handsets more frequently nowadays. It is so easy nowadays and whatever one needs to do that is there in their palm. It is only one touch away.... a gentle touch or a slide away.... Cool!!!
What if it is more compact, sleek, weightless, bigscreen, have high megapixel camera, more GB storage space, very user friendly Operating system, Cool and exciting Apps... etc... etc... the list never ends....
Perceived brand quality and perceived brand prestige are two main factors influencing consumer purchase of iPhone mobile phones all over the world.
Perceived quality is not a product’s actual quality, and that is an intangible, overall nonphysical feeling about a brand. As pointed out by High Speed IT Network Services LLC.'s (HSIT) Manager, perceived brand quality is a component of brand value, which leads consumer to choose a particular brand rather than any other competing brands. Perceived quality is important in determining consumer preferences towards global and local brand.
Smart phones are not new to us. Perhaps IBM’s Simon, created in 1992 was the first smartphone. It had address book, calendar, calculator, email and fax functions. Features like a two-color touch screen for dialing, typing and sending handwritten faxes made it awesome for those times. However it was still a communication device.
Apple however, completely redefined the utility value of phones and upgraded it to a life style product category.
"An iPod, a phone, an internet mobile communicator," This is how Jobs introduced iPhone in Jan 2007. They delivered something that customers did not expect of phone.
The iPhone is more of a phone, and the top tier Android phones, like the S4, are a phone/tablet fusion: “phablets”. The iPhone 5 is slimmer and fits the hand a bit better, but the extra screen size has important benefits.
Design changes in comparison to its predecessor included an aluminum-based body which was thinner and lighter than previous models, a taller screen with a nearly 16:9 aspect ratio, the Apple A6 system-on-chip, LTE support, and Lightning, a new compact dock connector which replaces the 30-pin design used by previous iPhone models.
While reception to the iPhone 5 has been generally positive, consumers and reviewers noted hardware issues, such as an unintended purple hue in photos taken, and the phone's coating being prone to chipping. Reception was also mixed over Apple's decision to switch to a different dock connector design, as the change affected iPhone 5's compatibility with accessories that were otherwise compatible with previous iterations of the line.
What a superior product the iPhone actually is. Android has developed fast, shown Apple that (screen) size matters, made the market competitive, and expanded it, particularly in Asia and at the low end, which is great. Apple has built and nurtured the advantages with which it launched the smartphone era: user experience, hardware design and performance, and its app and media ecosystem. It’s developed into a top-10 global consumer brand, and most important, it has a large set of loyal and affluent customers who pay up for phones and software, keeping its ecosystem on top.
We are early in the smartphone era. As long as Apple can stay significantly better and take care of its customers, it has a long way to run.
We are looking forward to iPhone 6 with a ~5” screen. It will bring
together the strengths of iOS with the one Android phone feature we miss
most.
